17. . Project Sunrise project involved construction of 100 million cigarettes per day manufacturing
facilities for ITC limited. The project value is INR1.334 billion (equivalent value 70 million
pounds) and the built up area is 69500 sq.m on a campus spread over 118 acres (480,000
sq.m). The project is located 35kms. from the city of Bangalore, India
Bovis Lend Lease (BLL) was awarded the Construction Management contract for the entire
development of the campus. Bovis Lend Lease have been referred by British American Tobacco,
as being one of the most successful consultants for managing the fast track projects.
