begins operation of the Indo-European Telegraph

 At the Berlin Industrial Exposition in

electrical railway with an external power supply.

AG.
 The joint venture quickly develops into world's largest company

 The war led to a labor shortage for Siemens .
 Although at first people from the occupied eastern
regions came to Germany voluntarily to work, as the
