My slides from a talk I gave to the Zürich Netzzunft group in February 2010. I discussed how publishers are waiting for the tech industry to not only give them a new device but also a new business model, how Apple are pushing realism metaphors in the iPad User Interface Guidelines, and if this all means that publishers are sacrificing the emotional connection with readers because of this. The slides are rather minimal, but there should be a video of the presentation soon, which may mean they make more sense.
