1. LOST SHEEP.

2. A shepherd with an hundred
sheep
Leading them along the way
Down the hill to greener vale
A place to feed and to rest.

3. But a sheep quietly strayed
From the faithful shepherd’s
trail
Unknown to the wandering
sheep
It's on its way to its doom

4. The faithful shepherd on
counting
The number of his dearest flock
With grief he soon discovered
That one has wandered from
the fold.

5. Compassionately he quickly left
The other sheep well secured
For even one is dear to him
He can't afford to lose his own.

6. Up and down the Judean hills
Relentlessly he searched for it
Until the wandering sheep he
found
Oh, what a joy that filled his
soul.

7. The joy of the King of kings
And that of the angelic host
Is far greater for a single soul
Who repents and turns to
Christ.

8. Why not rise dear believer
And bring great joy to your King
By investing your life and all
To the task of winning the lost.
