A man from New York bought a farmhouse in Portugal for half its value after it had been vacant for 15 years. The large barn had its steel doors welded shut, preventing anyone from seeing inside. Curious about what was hidden inside, the man cut through the welds and discovered a collection of rare and valuable vintage cars worth $35 million total. He had found an unexpected fortune to enjoy during his retirement.

Nobody wanted to go to the extra expense to see what was in the barn, and it wasn't complimentary to the property anyway......so, nobody made an offer on the place. The New York guy bought it at just over half of the property's worth, moved in, and set about to tear in to the barn.......curiosity was killing him.
