To pass from current technologies to integrate HRTM, companies need to work
on 5 organizational axes:
-Simultaneous engineering

- Accelerate innovation process and focus on miniaturization of products

The life time of technologies was very long = enough time to teach people
Today:
Technologies appears and disappears very rapidly = there is no real time to
learn people = human resources must be able to identify, understand and use
the new technologies very rapidly.
The speed of integration of new technologies by human resources is the key

chain stages (market study, production, customer …)
- Allow people to cooperate with less administrative constraints

- Allow people to adapt products and organizations to answer the attempts of
customers
- Focus people on high added value costs and achieve low cost actions using
robots.
- create the needed systems to facilitate the cooperation between employees
and equipments.

What are the new technologies needed to achieve the change of the culture of
human resources?
1- Transformation of data into useful knowledge: New technologies will be able
to collect the information and data and then treat them and create useful
synthesis to employees (ex: semantic software, automatic survey)
2- Standardization of data exchange protocols: This will simplify the
communication between people and machines (Bluetooth ..)
3- Improve the technology transfer to accelerate the spreading and the
integration of technologies in companies (technology centers)
4- New teaching methods: new methods with simplified practical knowledge

management tools are extremely needed to keep people connected efficiently
This challenge is also encouraged by the stress to decrease the time to market
of new products and to make new products.
Thus what are the tools to transform Data to knowledge?

1- Improve the learning technologies to allow people to transform the data into
knowledge (practical examples, step by step learning, learning software, etc)
2- Increase web cooperation instead of face to face cooperation (web
conferences, web control, work at home, Telepresence …)
3- Improve translation capacities and introduce real time translation capacities to
improve communication between people
4- Improve data filtration systems to eliminate automatically the garbage data
and to focus on useful data (anti spam systems, semantic search)
5- Increase the data security: data will become the most important asset of
companies
6- Reinforce artificial intelligence and automatic decision systems (Automatic
rating systems for loans)
7- Increase the roles of sensors to control machines: sensors are the best
way to increase the safety and the reliability of machines (ex: vision control
systems)

The rapid change of products and the introduction of new technologies need the
continuous transformation of companies to keep them efficient New

1- Focus on flexible collaboration systems inside the company
2- Focus on the market opportunities instead of keeping the current situation

miniaturization of products
The major motor of the economy in the last three decades was based on ICT
technologies.
The future will be more affected by the nano technologies and the small scale
technologies which will save certainly a lot of energy and resources.
The high number of technologies, will lead to a complete reshape of the future
with extremely high number of innovations focused on the simplification (more
simple outside and extremely complex inside). The major trends due to these
innovations:
-Decrease the use of capital due to simplification of production process and the
creation of one machine able to do many operations (ex: tooling machines)
- Increasing possibility of customization due to the flexibility of machines (3D
printers and laser printing)
- New technologies will allow to create new material and to develop new
assembly process
14. Accelerate innovation process and focus on
miniaturization of products
The major areas where the development will occur in the coming years are
nanotechnologies and biotechnologies:
-Nano technologies: this low scale technology will allow to:
-Create new nano machines able to work in very small scales
- create new material and reinforcement to enhance the current material
-Bio technology: these technologies have low wastes and can impact the life of
human beings. This will impact all areas in the agriculture, the health sector,
pharmaceutical sector, etc
