WHAT is Mountain Travel Symposium  
(MTS)
 MTS serves as the platform for mountain resort businesses to 
meet each spring
 establish and renew relationships establish and renew relationships
 initiate and complete agreements
 review the past season, and take the first steps toward 
making the upcoming season an even greater success.  
 MTS is a week‐long event consisting of four components 
specifically designed to address the issues needs and concernsspecifically designed to address the issues, needs and concerns 
of a broad range of industry constituencies 
 MTS is the largest of its kind in North America

The Four components of MTS 
MICE ‐ Trade Show with 50 qualified meeting planners from the US

showcase their meeting venues
Trade ‐ A contracting trade show (one‐on‐one appts) and educationalTrade  A contracting trade show (one on one appts) and educational 
sessions with suppliers and buyers consisting of tour operators, 
both domestic and international.  This Trade Exchange is the 
industry’s largest vacation planning trade show.
Forum – General sessions and workshop topics are selected to target 
strategic issues for developing successful destination resort
