8. Results : intrinsic rate of natural increase of some Phytoseiulus species on Solanaceae P. longipes C unable to control T. evansi nor T. urticae populations on Solanaceae, but P. longipes B could ! 9. Results : Intrinsic rate of natural increase of some Phytoseiulus species on « Beans » r m T. urticae r m on bean (van Impe 1985) Remark results on T. evansi / bean with adapted strains ? Conclusion all strains tested of P. longipes could have similar efficiency than P. persimilis on T. urticae on non Solanaceae plants
10. Conclusions & perspectives 1. P. longipes C is not a candidate for being a biological agent on tomato crops BUT A rgentinean and B razilian strains could be ! 2. All strains of P. longipes have the potential to be biological control agents of T. urticae on other crops !
