2. WHAT IS AN ANALOGY?
A comparison between two
things, typically on the basis
of their structure and for
the purpose of explanation
or clarification.

3. STEP 1
Decide what object you will
compare to a cell.
Example:
Cell is like a factory…
Cell is like a car…

4. STEP 2
Fill out the analogy planning
sheet. This must be approved
and finished BEFORE you start
working on the project.

5. STEP 3
Find pictures of each
of the objects that you
wrote in the blanks on
the planning
worksheet. Save them
to your H- drive in a
folder.

6. STEP 4
Decide which project you will produce:
A. A Glogster poster
B. A PowerPoint or Prezi slide
presentation
C. A written poster
Choose one option above.

7. STEP 5
Work on the project! It should be
finished by Monday, Feb. 4.
