WorldCentral Appliance Corporation was founded in 1982, in the month of October. It started as a single proprietorship under the name of Worldwide
Electronics and Appliances Resources Centre or WEA and later changed to its present name. It grew to be a leading consumer electronics and appliance
store in the Chinatown district, carrying the wildest range of name brands and models. And in the year 1994, the old building was tore down to give way to a
new three-storey building, for more displays and to cater to the needs of the customers. At present, we have changed our company name to Worldcentral
Appliance Corporation.
As for the growing demands for split and packaged type air conditioners rises, a specialty shop was opened and was named Poweraire Airconditioning and
Aireworks, Inc. It is not only a shop designed for sales but as well as for service and installation, an authorized installer of the various brands of
airconditioners. Showrooms are located in Wilson St., Greenhills, Ortigas Home Depot and Alabang Home Depot, and Balintawak Home Depot.
