MEANING Public finance is a field of economics concerned with paying for collective or governmental activities, and with the administration and design of those activities
Definition Public finance is defined as collection of taxes from those who benefit from the provision of public good by the government, and the use of tax fund towards production and distribution of the public good. Public finance is closely connected to issues of income distribution and social equity .
