9. Summary of audience research – what have you found out about who your target audience is and how to
appeal to them?
10. Audience profile – who is your ideal consumer – age, gender, interests, etc.
11. Presentation on similar product – narrative, conventions, institution, audience, marketing.
12. Analysis of promotional package – how is brand identity created across a range of linked products?
13. Production concept – initial ideas for your main product – can be mood-board, mind-map, word-cloud, etc.

PRESENTATIONS
Your research presentation should summarise the most
information you found out from your research. This should
include:
Research into similar products
What are the conventions of your chosen product? Think about
narrative and technical conventions. Remember to include
information about your ancillary products as well as the main
products How will your research help you to plan a successful
product? How will it guide your planning/production?
Research into target audience
What have you found out about your target audience? Who are
they? Consider demographics (age, gender) and psychographics
(interests, lifestyle). What do your target audience expect/want to
see in your product? How will this help you to produce a successful
product? How will it guide your planning/production?
7. PRESENTATION
Your research and planning is marked on your presentation
skills and your use of technologies.
What different methods/platforms/technologies could you
use in your research presentations?
