(SUBJ) + WILL + (BASE FORM)
We can use it to express a simple prediction:
•There will be snow on many mountains tomorrow..
•Athletic won’t (will not ) win the League this year.
•Will men live on the moon by 2020?
We can use it to express a spontaneous decision:
•I’ll pay for the tickets.
•It’s her birthday. I’ll send her a postcard.
•I’m not hungry. I’ll just have a sandwich.
We can use it to express willingness:
•We’ll help you , mum.
•I’ll help you with the homework.
4. Simple future (will)
We can use it to make an offer
•Shall I open the window?
We can use it to give an invitation:
•Will you come to the disco with me tomorrow?
•Will you marry me?
We can use it to express suggestion:
•Shall we go to the cinema tonight?
We can use it to express a promise:
•I will telephone you when I arrive. (I promise)
•I won’t tell anyone your secret.
5. To be going to
We can use it to express a future plan
•We are going to paint our garage this afternoon.

•I failed my tests. My parents are not going to be very happy with me.
