2. The pieces of a skull
These bones are all pieces of
the skull. All together There are
22 bones in the human skull:
8 cranial bones and 14 facial
bones. Cranial bones are the
Ethmoid bone, Frontal
bone, Occipital bone, 2 Pariatal
bones, 1Sphenoid bone, and 2
Temporal bones.
Facial bones are 2 Inferior Nasal
Conchae, 2 Lacrimal Bones,1
Mandible, 2 Maxillae/Maxilla, 2
Nasal Bones, 2 Palatine Bones,
1 Vomer, and 2 Zygomatic
Bones.
3. Why do we have a skull?
The skull protects your brain and other things in
your head such as your eyes.
The skull also is a major part of the skeleton
because it adds stability and balance to your
head any way your head would be jelly with no
skull.
