Develop Your Skills
Apprenticeship Week here at Swansea ITeC
Apprenticeship Week is the time when all
eyes are on apprenticeships and it’s all
about raising the profile amongst
employers, individuals, teachers, parents
and the media. Everyone with an interest in
apprenticeships across Wales is
encouraged to get involved in the Week.
In the week I interviewed the
apprenticeships. In this Newsletter there
will basically be questions and answers
from the apprenticeships.
An Apprenticeship could be for you if
you’ve got a good idea of where you
want to go with your career and like the
idea of earning while you learn. You’ll get
top quality training, developing skills and
gaining qualifications on the job.
First you’ll need to decide which career
suits you best.
Next, you’ll have to decide whether you
can commit to the demands of an
Apprenticeship. Being an apprentice
means juggling work and study over the
long term.
Generally, an Apprenticeship takes
between one and four years to complete.
The length varies depending on the
sector, the qualification you’re going for
and the skills you already have.
Swansea ITeC Limited is a part of Skills Academy Wales,
the largest work-based learning provider in South West
Wales. Come and speak to the experts and find out how
apprenticeships can improve YOUR career prospects and
support YOUR business prosperity.
Here at Swansea ITeC we will support you 100% with your
career.
