9. Where we are coming from
AcT was started as Reduction of complexity initiative
Within DHL Freight we had some different
DHLi T&T systems on regional and country level.
Domestic To reduce complexity the goal was to have
T&T
one T&T system for DHL Freight.
Started 2009 with scoping and analyzing the
further T&T landscape we switched off the major
T&T T&T for the EUROCONNECT product in
2010.
Within 2011 we continued with the domestic
T&T systems included also the TMS for
temperature monitored shipments.

To have ACTIVETRACING on a mobile device we developed with IKS a
concept and got the approval from our Senior Management.
The main focus was to concentrate on the key facts and make them
smoothly to use for our customers.

Positive feedback from the customers
Some complaint from customer which used the Freight app to track
shipments from other DHL BUs
Downloads by OS:
iOS: ~ 32.000 downloads
Android: ~ 9.300 downloads
BlackBerry: ~ 4.200 download
For iOS the average is still
200 downloads per day!
