ABSTRACT
Privatization of education in the technical education initially decreases the unemployment
effectively and increases the percentage of higher education in the technical education but after the
establishment of private institutions in number, privatization directly proportional to unemployment.
As the number of private technical institute increases number of outcome student increases
tremendously but a number of private companies are not increasing and hence unemployment
increases in the field of technical education and also decreases the quality of education in India.
According to the survey 90% student is very poor in the communication, 86% student are poor in the
Basic analysis. Today the Indian education system is supply determined education system whereas it
should be demand determined education system. Due to lack of well established implementation,
monitoring system day by day quality decreases. Expenditure on the education is still very less it is
4% of the GDP. 47% P.G students are not liable for the employment.
Keyword: Quality, privatization, unemployment, effect, implementation, monitoring.
INTRODUCTION
In the field of technical education in Maharashtra in 2005-2010 number of Diploma in
Engineering & Technology colleges increases by 213 whereas Degree Course in Engineering &
Technology colleges increased by 155 colleges. Post Graduate Degree Course in Engineering &
Technology colleges increases rapidly in 2010-2012 by113 in Maharashtra among these most of
Diploma in Engineering & Technology colleges, Degree Course in Engineering & Technology
colleges, Post Graduate Degree Course in Engineering & Technology are private colleges.

CONSEQUENCES OF PRIVATIZATION
Most of the colleges are private then implementation and monitoring to impart the quality
education which becomes difficult. Most of the colleges aim to run the institution like industry to get
the profit which affected on the quality most of colleges run their organization without eligible
teachers to save the money because teachers are available in less salary and need not provide any
EPF, other facility to them, it is affecting the quality. Due to increase in number of colleges' intake
capacity of the student also increases and time has come to stop the permission to new colleges in
this field. In the last two years number of seats were vacant due to more intake capacity. Instead new
colleges AICTE-UGC should establish such mechanistic body which can give attenuations on the
implementation of rules and regulation and monitoring strictly. Now saturation point has come to
stop the quantity pay the attenuations on quality. Increase in the number of colleges in different
courses in Maharashtra is given in the table-I, whereas the Progressive increase in No. of Technical
Institutes / Colleges over the last 40 years are given in Table-II while the Progressive increase in No.
of Student Seeking Technical Education In Institutes / Colleges over the last 40 years are given in
Table-III and the number of different degree colleges having XI, XII classes are given in table IV in
Maharashtra. According to 8th All India School Education Survey (8th AISES) most of students
having the option to take admission in the previous college in Maharashtra. Total 838 colleges
having U.G courses along with XI, XII classes it is shown in the table IV.

RESULT AND DISCUSSIONS
Privatization in education is a boon it enhanced the percentage of educated and employment
opportunities and bane due to insufficient implementation of rules or misuses of it by the private
societies, lack of implantation, monitoring mechanism time to time it loses its quality, be deficient in
political wheel power technical education loses it's quality. According to the survey 90% student are
very poor in the communication, 86% student is poor in the Basic analysis and 47% P.G students are

CONCLUSION
1.sturdy Planning, implementation and monitoring mechanistic body necessarily established to
improve the Quality. 2. Before granting Permission to new private college in any area, population of
that area should take in to consideration and number of colleges already functioning in that area. 3.
Rule and regulation should be followed by UGC-Concerned University strictly. 4. Every teacher /
faculty should be UGC Approved working in the affiliated colleges. 5. University should make
mandatory to every affiliated colleges ‘QIP’ for faculty member

A review on privatization in education is the boon for percentages of educated

  • 1. International Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Technology (IJMET), ISSN 0976 – 6340(Print), ISSN 0976 – 6359(Online) Volume 4, Issue 4, July - August (2013) © IAEME 373 A REVIEW ON PRIVATIZATION IN EDUCATION IS THE BOON FOR PERCENTAGES OF EDUCATED, AND BANE FOR QUALITY, UNEMPLOYMENT A.G.Gaddamwar1* , P.R.Rajput2 1 Dhamangaon Education Society’s College of Engineering and Technology, Affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University Amravati, Dhamangaon railway. Head, Department of Engineering Chemistry, Maharashtra, India. ABSTRACT Privatization of education in the technical education initially decreases the unemployment effectively and increases the percentage of higher education in the technical education but after the establishment of private institutions in number, privatization directly proportional to unemployment. As the number of private technical institute increases number of outcome student increases tremendously but a number of private companies are not increasing and hence unemployment increases in the field of technical education and also decreases the quality of education in India. According to the survey 90% student is very poor in the communication, 86% student are poor in the Basic analysis. Today the Indian education system is supply determined education system whereas it should be demand determined education system. Due to lack of well established implementation, monitoring system day by day quality decreases. Expenditure on the education is still very less it is 4% of the GDP. 47% P.G students are not liable for the employment. Keyword: Quality, privatization, unemployment, effect, implementation, monitoring. INTRODUCTION In the field of technical education in Maharashtra in 2005-2010 number of Diploma in Engineering & Technology colleges increases by 213 whereas Degree Course in Engineering & Technology colleges increased by 155 colleges. Post Graduate Degree Course in Engineering & Technology colleges increases rapidly in 2010-2012 by113 in Maharashtra among these most of Diploma in Engineering & Technology colleges, Degree Course in Engineering & Technology colleges, Post Graduate Degree Course in Engineering & Technology are private colleges. International Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Technology (IJMET), ISSN 0976 – 6340(Print), ISSN 0976 – 6359(Online) Volume 4, Issue 4, July - August (2013) © IAEME 374 CONSEQUENCES OF PRIVATIZATION Most of the colleges are private then implementation and monitoring to impart the quality education which becomes difficult. Most of the colleges aim to run the institution like industry to get the profit which affected on the quality most of colleges run their organization without eligible teachers to save the money because teachers are available in less salary and need not provide any EPF, other facility to them, it is affecting the quality. Due to increase in number of colleges' intake capacity of the student also increases and time has come to stop the permission to new colleges in this field. In the last two years number of seats were vacant due to more intake capacity. Instead new colleges AICTE-UGC should establish such mechanistic body which can give attenuations on the implementation of rules and regulation and monitoring strictly. Now saturation point has come to stop the quantity pay the attenuations on quality. Increase in the number of colleges in different courses in Maharashtra is given in the table-I, whereas the Progressive increase in No. of Technical Institutes / Colleges over the last 40 years are given in Table-II while the Progressive increase in No. of Student Seeking Technical Education In Institutes / Colleges over the last 40 years are given in Table-III and the number of different degree colleges having XI, XII classes are given in table IV in Maharashtra. According to 8th All India School Education Survey (8th AISES) most of students having the option to take admission in the previous college in Maharashtra. Total 838 colleges having U.G courses along with XI, XII classes it is shown in the table IV. Before granting Permission to new private college in any area, population of that area should take in to consideration and number of colleges already functioning in that area. 3.
