their personal competencies for dealing with change.
While change often looks chaotic to us, it is the
complexity of social systems that blinds us.
The LEADING CHANGE course enhances your
understanding of hidden dynamics of complex
change processes and demonstrates how
leaders can influence those dynamics.

In the LEADING CHANGE course, participants
will reflect on their own change journey and
develop their personality as a leader of change.

toolbox
In the LEADING CHANGE course, participants
will acquire a toolset that is suitable for
effective facilitation of change.
Learning goals: at the end of the training program,
participants will
• know the main theories and models of change and
organizational development,
• have reflected on their own leadership style, as
well as on traditional and modern leadership
approaches,
• master some tools for organizational development
that they can apply in their organizations, and
• have implemented a prototype for a change
program in their organization.

development, change management and leadership
• power issues in organizational change
• theories of human needs and motivation
• complexity theories as relevant to organizational
development
• deficit and resource orientation in change
management
• constructivist approaches to understanding change
• participation and leadership as two ends of a
continuum

• theory of large systems change
• learning organizations
• diversity
• knowledge management; social media as OD tools

• the significance of passion and responsibility for
organizational excellence
• myself as a leader – skills and attitudes
• how to co-create visions – the power of images
• analyzing assumptions and limiting belief

• dealing with conflicts and emotions in change
