Woogle is a novel approach that marries wikis and enterprise search. It aims to improve information access by introducing better search functions to wikis and seamlessly transitioning users from searching to contributing information. It also aims to improve information provision by guiding it based on aggregate unsatisfied information needs from search logs. This allows search to become collaboratively customizable and additional content to be added incrementally. Evaluation of Woogle is forthcoming through qualitative interviews and online experiments.
