2. Synopsis
Someone gets murdered the criminal keeps getting
flashbacks in opening sequence (typical criminal in
the way he dresses and acts), throughout the film he
is on the run from the police as they have evidence,
ends up with him being caught by the police as the
detective found his fingerprints.
3. Film genre and examples
Crime thrillers are films which focus on the lives
of criminals. The technical approach to a crime
film varies from realistic portrayals of real-life
criminal figures, to the far-fetched evil doings of
imaginary villains. Criminal acts are almost
always glorified in these movies.
4. Information in opening
sequence
The information we want to get across in our 2
minute opening sequence is the character and
what happens to him and how he got
murdered and who he got murdered by.
Setting will be in a dark place and in the back
streets of a busy residential town also we want
to give the feeling that the Murderer is getting
followed by someone.
5. Target Audience
We researched different thriller films, and looked at
the gender percentage and age difference. We
found out that men mostly watch thrillers compared
to women and the age range is around 15-34.
