Participation in the National Name Exchange not only provided institutions information about me but also provided me with information on programs offered at various institutions, many of which I had never considered.— Student Participant, Northwestern University National Name Exchange has been valuable because it has introduced me to many colleges, and has spurned me to work harder in order to maintain the type of excellence that allows me such an opportunity. — Student Participant, Washington University
134. Participant Feedback I have only gotten a few responses from schools. It has encouraged me to pursue grad school…they have sent me a welcoming email describing their activities and services. I loved the idea of it. But it hasn’t been consistent with contacting me. None of them made the necessary efforts to get my attention. The e-mails I received all seemed automatically generated, as if it was a mass e-mail sent to a large number of people.
