• Vortex design with the architect

«Vortexes».

the four «Vortexes»

4. The architecture of the vortex
There are 4 «Vortexes» in the showroom (plus 3 desktop
vortexes). Each vortex is composed of three low resolution
screens (LED based)
• 1 for the ceiling
• 1 exterior
• 1 interior
Each vortex is driven by a media server and motion sensors

6. Why the vortex ?
• To animate the space
• A multimedia device directly integrated into the architecture
• Two axes : Magic & Technology
• To focus on cars
• A device that highlights the vehicle exposed by creating a
luminous scenography
• Highlights vehicle identity & design

8. Theme content
The vortexes are synchronized to work together with a common
identity, one of three possible :
• Element : wind, fire, water,cloud...
• Mechanic : network, transmission, engine...
• Organic : heart beat, breathing...

The entire device can be checked / updated from a single ipad
3 main functions :
• Setup the media diffusion planning
• Upload a media (from existing videos)
• Create a media (real time animation)

13. In conclusion
• Great opening of the flagship : June 2012.
• BMW has decided to decline the GEORGE V Flagship concept
worldwide (Future Retail program)
• The flagship became an exception event space for BMW Europe
