   2. INTRODUCTION

The video streaming system is a visual system that can play/stream flash videos and mp4
type of videos locally through synchronization.

   3.SCOPE

The video streaming system will allow video and audio files to be loaded to the ICT
streaming system by lecturers, and lecturers will create a link in WISeUp which will point to
that particular video/audio in the ICT video streaming system.

   4.PURPOSE

The purpose of this document is to:

 Introduce a system that will decrease load on the internet bandwidth so as to provide
effective and efficient video sharing platform.
 Have a system that will make it easy for students to download and view videos for
lecturers and students, possible such videos can be transferred to their portable
       devices.

   5.CURRENT SYSTEM

The current system uses WISeUp to load videos which offers mpeg, avi and quicktime
videos, these video formats occupy a lot of space and they are not easy to view or
download. With this current system the video take too long to open and sometime would not
open.

campus) through synchronization. A system that will make it easy for students and lecturers
to view and download videos, possible such videos be transferred to their portable devices
so as to promote blended learning. Lecturers will be able to download videos and place them
on localized servers.

                                                                                                  View and
