USALearns is a free online learning program for immigrant adults to improve their English skills. It was developed by the Sacramento County Office of Education with funding from the US Department of Education. The program has two courses (beginner and intermediate) that teach English through videos and interactive activities covering topics like survival language and job skills. It also includes a teacher site for monitoring student progress and providing feedback. Teachers are advised to orient students to the site and monitor their use of it to promote effective language learning habits.
