A number of teachers from various year levels were questioned from the schools where we are currently doing our placement. The following are their thoughts on creativity and assessment that promotes creativity. Creativity Research

1929- 1993 Fred Hollows pioneered the introduction of modern cataract surgery to developing countries, helping restore the sight of thousands each year.    Hollows was named as Australian of the Year in 1990 in recognition of his ground-breaking work. (The Fred Hollows Foundation, 2009)
 
Inspired the era of home computers Gates and Allen founded Microsoft in 1976. Versions of Microsoft can now be found on around 90% of the worlds computers. ‘ Googol’ is a mathematical term for the numeral 1, followed by 100 zero’s. The use of this term represents their mission to organise a seemingly infinite amount of information on the web. Larry Page and Sergery Brin created Google in 1996 but it was called BackRub.
