Mark your calendars! The Annual Vestry Meeting (AGM) for
our parish will take place on Sunday, February 23, 2014.
Leaders of parish groups are asked to submit their reports
electronically to the parish office by the end of January.
Thank you to all those who organized and contributed to the
CCDP Christmas Fair yesterday. It was a lot of work, and a
tremendous success!
Thank you to those who represented our parish at Diocesan
Synod over the past two days. In addition to our clergy, CCDP
was represented by our lay members of synod. Our elected
members are: Maggie Symons, Al Rands and Kathy Lindsey.
Jenny Rieger and Canon Phyllis Creighton are Archbishop’s
appointees; and Walter Blackwell represents his ‘summer
parish’. Thanks to all of them for this important ministry.
PromiseLand is our church school for children from the
ages of 5 to 12. The children meet in the church at 10:00

more about Promiseland.

brown envelope enclosed with the bulletin over
the next few weeks. If you would like to make
the donation in memory of a loved one, please
print the name of the person(s) to be remembered on the
envelope, place it on the offering plate and names will be
included in the Christmas bulletins.
The latest issue of ‘Herald’ – the parish newsletter – is now
available at the bell-tower entrance, however we also
encourage you to view the newsletter on-line by visiting our
