This document discusses a new digital kids play company called Brickmark and their first project called Kids Play. It outlines the possibilities that new technologies like touchscreens, cameras, microphones etc. provide for new types of interactive play experiences for preschoolers. It then provides examples of existing apps that utilize these technologies and capabilities in innovative ways for learning, play and social experiences both on and beyond the screen. The talk concludes by discussing how digital play can expand on traditional play and the importance of seamlessly blending physical and digital play.
