2. Be Holy For I Am Holy

3. 1 Peter 1:15-16 - But now you
must be holy in everything you
do, just as God who chose you
is holy. 16For the Scriptures say,
“You must be holy because I am
holy.” NLT

4. Exodus 31:12-13 - The Lord then
gave these instructions to Moses:
13“Tell the people of Israel: ‘Be
careful to keep my Sabbath day,
for the Sabbath is a sign of the
covenant between me and you
from generation to generation. It
is given so you may know that I
am the Lord, who makes you holy.

You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your
mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important:
Love your neighbor as yourself. The entire law and all the demands of the
prophets are based on these two commandments.

6. Exodus 31:15-17 - You have six
days each week for your
ordinary work, but the seventh
day must be a Sabbath day of
complete rest, a holy day
dedicated to the Lord. Anyone
who works on the Sabbath must
be put to death.

7. 16The people of Israel must keep
the Sabbath day by observing it
from generation to generation.
This is a covenant obligation for
all time.

8. 17It is a permanent sign of my
covenant with the people of
Israel. For in six days the Lord
made heaven and earth, but on
the seventh day he stopped
working and was refreshed.‘ ”

careful how you live. Don’t live
like fools, but like those who are
wise. 16Make the most of every
opportunity in these evil days.

understand what the Lord wants
