Alha Airport Partnerships in Technological research Since November, 2007 Alha Airport Spa is taking part to IPS - Internal Post Corporation project: Future of mail by Air EDI Interface with Carriers. Since then, our IT department is testing CARDIT/RESDIT and PRECON/RESCON messages and represents a benchmark in Italy for the development of mail handling IT. Starting as from May 2008, Alha Airport has been supporting IATA STB / e-freight pilot E-freight is an initiative launched by the Board of IATA which aims to leverage technology, automate the business and streamline processes. This results in a reduction of complexity and cost, to make travel more convenient.

When the appraisal expertise of VAB FS was sold to the biggest leasing company in Luxembourg, the need arose to reduce the coordination overhead to a minimum. Since VAB FS has no appraisal experts in Luxembourg and it would be rather expensive to send people from Belgium, they started looking for an innovative solution to draft remote appraisals and decrease operational overhead. This way, the VAB FS experts are able to win time, which in turn leads to lower service costs. Besides this first problem, VAB FS was also searching for a manner to reduce their paperwork to a minimum and to maximize the quality of their appraisals. In the past, the ACA Mobile team had already created an iPhone app for the VAB FS distributors on this project. Therefore, they asked our Mobile team if we could solve these problems for them too.

iCabs is a system, delivered by opensky Data Systems through an iPhone, developed specifically for the National Transport Authority’s Compliance Team. iCabs allows each Compliance Officer to validate each small public service vehicle licence (in excess of 50,000 licence entries), record all regulatory checks, create notes on each licence and issue Fixed Charge Penalties when required. iCabs is the main tool of the Compliance Officer’s work and provides an excellent system for each officer to receive and provide up-to-the-minute information on every licence holder. Without iCabs, Compliance Officers would be unable to complete their tasks efficiently

Due to increasing technology Automotive Electronics sector is now becoming more in demand. Most of luxurious vehicles consist of automatic controls of different parameters present in the car surrounding. As more and more latest applications are available on vehicle information system, therefore connection between the vehicle bus network and information system is now becoming a trend. Basically in automobile industries for communication, the CAN protocol is used. The proposed system presents the development and implementation of the digital driving system for a semi-autonomous vehicle for improving the driver vehicle interface and CAN provide technological development for future applications in vehicle’s information system. The proposed system is use to monitor driver’s behaviour, Drowsiness and Alcohol with the help of sensors. System contains controller block designed using ARM Cortex M-3, alcohol and sensors, CAN controller, GPS and GSM modules.

VCN is Vehicular Cloud Network which is the combination of VANET and cloud. Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) technology has been used in many of the applications such as avoiding traffic jam on roadways and airways, preventing the vehicles from accidents and so on. It serve as one of the best platform to meet with group-oriented services which comes under one of the primary application classes. Multicast routing is used to support such services. In such cases one must have to ensure better packet delivery ratio, lower delays and reduced control overheads. Thus, there is a need to design stable and reliable multicast routing protocols for VANETs. In this paper, we proposed a Receiver Based Multicast Routing Protocol that finds a best way to perform the multicast traffic. RBMulticast stores destination list inside the packet header, this destination list provides information on all multicast members to which this packet is targeted .And it stores the traced information or data in the cloud for given period of time. Thus, the multicast tree is not required for this process and therefore no tree state stored at the intermediate nodes.

Single chip IDACS method increses the processing speed of a system and also avoids the problem of poor real time and reliability.This system uses ARM9 Processor and RTLinux. Web server application is ported into an ARM processor using embedded ‘C’ language. Web pages are designed in Hyper text markup language (HTML)

Tracing the root cause of a performance issue requires a lot of patience, experience, and focus. It’s so hard that we sometimes attempt to guess by trying out tentative fixes, but that usually results in frustration, messy code, and a considerable waste of time and money. This talk explains how to correctly zoom in on a performance bottleneck using three levels of profiling: distributed tracing, metrics, and method profiling. After we learn to read the JVM profiler output as a flame graph, we explore a series of bottlenecks typical for backend systems, like connection/thread pool starvation, invisible aspects, blocking code, hot CPU methods, lock contention, and Virtual Thread pinning, and we learn to trace them even if they occur in library code you are not familiar with. Retrieval augmented generation (RAG) is the most popular style of large language model application to emerge from 2023. The most basic style of RAG works by vectorizing your data and injecting it into a vector database like Milvus for retrieval to augment the text output generated by an LLM. This is just the beginning. One of the ways that we can extend RAG, and extend AI, is through multilingual use cases. Typical RAG is done in English using embedding models that are trained in English. In this talk, we’ll explore how RAG could work in languages other than English. We’ll explore French, Chinese, and Polish.

Starting as from May 2008, Alha Airport has been supporting IATA STB / e-freight pilot E-freight is an initiative launched by the Board of IATA which aims to leverage technology, automate the business and streamline processes.
