to God

Solomon asked for discernment to carry
out his job; he did not ask God to do the
job for him.

and the earth as witnesses against you that I
have set before you life and death, blessings
and curses. Now choose life, so that you and
your children may live.”
Acts 17:28 “For in Him we live and move and

have said, ‘We are His offspring.’”

Romans 8:35 “Who shall separate us from the
love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or
persecution or famine or nakedness or danger
or sword?”

nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor
anything else in all creation, will be able to
separate us from the love of God that is in
Christ Jesus our Lord.”

God’s power – for with God all things are
possible!

me, He will keep me safe in His temple & make
me secure on a high rock.”

your conduct, your habits, and your
affiliations.

2)James & John – “Sons of Thunder” [explosive
tempers]

4)Paul – Saul the persecutor of Christians
18. Some believers can endure the trials of poverty, but when
money is in their hands, they cannot pass the tests of being
rich.
Some can endure criticism, but cannot pass the test of
being praised.
19. God is looking for strong, bold, fearless,
warriors of the cross – who are willing to
fight the good fight of faith, who will run
the race, with Temperance & Discipline.
