STUDY IN NEW ZEALAND
New Zealand has something to offer everybody. It has wonderfully varied and large unpolluted
landscapes, beaches, farmlands, forests, gardens etc. New Zealand is very proud of its 'nuclear
Free' image. People from different social classes and ethnic groups live here with far fewer
problems than found in most of the countries. There is a liberal democracy with a strong tradition

Most international students find New Zealand friendly, easy-going people who are interested in
meeting those from other cultures and in travelling overseas. NZ is a very sports oriented country,
most New Zealanders take part in or watch a wide variety of games. The best known sports and
rugby and cricket, with netball, badminton, squash, skiing, tennis, basketball, athletics, soccer, and
hockey also very popular, English is the day to day language in New Zealand and students from all
over the world find it very easy to study, live and interact in New Zealand.

Qualifications Globally Recognised
Students who have studied are earning a reputation of being called innovative thinkers and are being addressed

Quality Assurance
To ensure that both the Government and individuals are investing in quality education, training and assessment, the
Government has set up nationally recognised processes of quality assurance. There are a number of government
appointed bodies responsible for approving qualifications in New Zealand and for the quality that determines the delivery

The NZQA assures the quality of programme offered by state institutions and a private establishment, which in turn ensures that programmes offered in New Zealand, maintain international recognition. Equally strong focus on Academics and Welfare Most of the universities have been taking International students for the last 50 - 60 years and hence have gained a multicultural/national perspective offering a balanced curriculum which finds relevance in work places around the world. The environment is green, clean and uncrowded with a small populations and wide open spaces. Code of Practice A code of practice that ensures protection of international student’s welfare by all education providers came into force in 2002. Only signatories to the code will be allowed to enroll international students. Ensuring that New Zealand education providers act fairly and reasonably when recruiting students, the Code gives prospective students that they can trust the institution in which they choose to enroll. Quality Assurance To ensure that both the Government and individuals are investing in quality education, training and assessment, the Government has set up nationally recognised processes of quality assurance.
