3. Operative Instructions
1) Setu speech interface is in pure Gujarat language, so anyone can operate it easily.
2) For operating the motor, only requirement is mobile or land‐line phone, just dial the
number and operate the Setu. No need to send SMS or remember keywords.
3) When Setu detects all three phase power, than only switch‐on the motor. (For motor
safety.)
4) Farmer can set password for motor operation, so unauthorized person cannot operate the
Setu. Default password is 123456, farmer can change it afterwards.
5) Detailed diagram of connection and voice‐flow for easy understanding, any person with
basic electrical knowledge can install the Setu easily.
6) Farmer can operate one single phase electric equipment with Setu
7) Setu has manual charging switch, in case of handset battery get dried.
8) We have tested Setu, with almost all available contactors, working fine, compatible with
any normal contactor or star‐delta contactor.
9) No scheduling & pre‐power check functionality is available tube light operation.
10) If you forgot the password, facility to call our call‐centre (97141 25000) to retrieve it back,
for same you first have to register Setu, with us for user verification.

fast call‐response.
13) Do switch off the Setu, while connecting hands free, check hands free icon on the handset.
14) Setu gives 99% accuracy in call‐pickup. While handset is in charging mode, Setu takes more
time to pick up the call.

15) Indicator led details

16) Every voice prompt, expect farmer input in 3 to 4 second, in case of no input, call get
disconnected.
17) Motor over‐run protection has more priority than scheduling, maximum supported duration
is 23hours for both motor over‐run protection & scheduling, and all time enter in 24 hour
format.
18) At any point of operation, if call cuts abruptly due to any technical issue. Farmer has to wait
for 40 to 45 second for next successful call.
19) Keep minimum distance of 1.5 feet between handset and Setu, for better voice quality
20) When Setu, power‐on, both motor & tube light set in switch‐off mode. If there is power‐cut
off, while motor is in the scheduled‐switch‐on state, on resuming, Setu checks for the
scheduled‐time and operate accordingly.
Warranty, Support & Service
1) Setu, is compatible with Nokia 1280 device handset only, which is part of the standard
installation, so please do not use else phone, phone has one year service‐support
warranty provided by Nokia.
2) One year service‐support warranty provided, no onsite support and service provided, in
case of any issue, farmer has to send back device to the vendor to make it fix.

Easy Operation Tips
Farmer can store handset number in address book, as mentioned below format for fast motor
or tube light on & off operation.
If mobile number is 1234567890
To switch‐on & switch‐off motor, save handset number with format 1234567890p*1p*9
To switch‐on & switch‐off tube light, save handset number with format 1234567890p*2p*9
*add more asterisk (*) or remove it. (Farmer has to check with their service‐provider)
Installation Step by Step
1) Check all three phases and neutral is available or not, in absence of neutral, earthling is also
compatible.
2) Single‐phase connection is required for Setu power supply and handset charger.
3) Do insert appropriate working SIM in the Nokia 1280 handset
4) Handset must be charged & set its ringtone ‘Destiny‘
5) Handset must have working SIM‐card with good signal quality
6) Do test phone once by calling from your phone, working ok or not.
7) Do connect hands free, and check its symbol shows on handset, keep device off, while
connecting hands free.
8) Do connect contactor as mentioned in the diagram, check it twice for best‐connectivity.
9) Get connect Setu power supply and test once, all working fine or not.
