experience” of surveyed employees (what do employees
say about their employment experience., e.g. “what is
unique about the Monsanto work experience”)
• Build an Employment Brand message out of the survey
opinions
• Develop worldwide Recruitment Marketing materials and
incorporate the information gathered from the survey.
Upgrade Career website to be more global in scope.

– Regional “brochure” inserts

Use the Brand Message & EVP in: offer letters, new hire onboarding & welcome emails, radio commercial, video
commercial, marketing materials (US & Global), toolbox,
external/internal career websites, campus flyers, table tents, trade
booth displays, etc.
Branded all of the Professional, University and College recruiting
materials, trade booth displays give-aways for commonality and
uniformity.
5. Employment Branding Strategy
• Encourage World Areas to apply for “Top Employer
Awards” in their respective countries
• Share the survey information about the “employment
experience of employees” with Public Relations and
Employee Communications for incorporation into their
communications with employees.
• Encourage Public Relations and Employee
Communications to publicize widely (internally and
externally) when Monsanto gains a “Top Employer
Award” anywhere in the World
6. Employment Branding Strategy
• Managed Monsanto’s employment brand and media
strategy in partnership with our external advertising
agency while evaluating and optimizing the applicant
experience via focus groups interviews conducted in
orientation and new hire surveys.
• Partnered with OD Team on internal Employee
Organizational survey findings and the connection to our
Employment Brand. Incorporated these findings into our
Employment Branding strategy.
7. Employment Branding Strategy
• Conducted focus groups at New Employee Orientation to
discover Monsanto’s unique Employer characteristics and
the appeal of its Employment Value Proposition to new
hires. In addition, led focus groups with internal
networks/affinity group members.
