1. Start your trip from Paris to Antwerp

DAY 2: FROM ANTWERP TO
AMSTERDAM

7:51 AM and arrive in Paris at 9:59AM. During the journey why not

DAY 6: FROM LIÈGE TO PARIS
Leave the capital of Europe with Thalys at 7:28 AM and arrive in
Cologne city centre at 9:15 AM. Have breakfast at in the onboard
Thalys Welcome Bar where you’ll find a wide selection hot and
cold dishes, sandwiches, croissant, snacks and drinks.
We invite you to discover one of Germany’s oldest cities, Cologne
which is full of surprises: architecture, design, music and
museums.
Take a trip through 2000 years of history and visit cultural
monuments from the Roman Empire to modern times. All roads
in Cologne lead to the Cathedral, with its twin spires towering 157
metres in the air, making them visible from almost anywhere in
the city. The Cathedral is registered by the UNESCO and also is
the most visited monument in Germany.
Also Cologne has 42 museums, 120
galleries and seasonal events such as
Christmas markets, Cologne Carnivals
(must-see event of the year) and
Cologne light displays.
DAY 4: FROM BRUSSELS TO
COLOGNE
Leave the canals of Amsterdam on board Thalys at 8:16 AM and
arrive at 10:08 AM to Brussels-Midi Station. To save time, have
breakfast on board. For your convenience, if you travel in first
class (Comfort 1), a taxi booking service can be arranged
on-board. Brussels historic district, 10 minutes from
Brussels-Midi station, is very charming with its traditional cafes,
restaurants and museums.
Brussels is also known as the capital of Europe and capital of
contrasts. From the Mannekenpis (tiny statuette of a urinating
boy) to the Atomium, to the Grand Place, you’ll be amazed by
this city of a thousand facades. Try one
of the most popular and traditional
Belgian dishes “Moules-frites”, with a
typical Belgian beer. Remember to try
some Belgian chocolates and waffles!
DAY 3: FROM
AMSTERDAM TO BRUSSELS
We propose you to leave behind the Cathedral of Cologne with
Thalys at 8:44 AM and arrive to Liège city centre at 9:47 AM.

Travelling in Europe with Thalys is very simple. Why? All Thalys trains
arrive at and depart from the main stations located in the city centre of
our destinations, so you will have more free time to enjoy your trip.
Thalys also provides direct services to Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam
Airport) in the Netherlands. Since Thalys has recently widened its rail
network, passengers can also travel to Brussels Airport (Zaventem)
and also Düsseldorf Airport.
Every day, up to 24 trains travel between Paris and Brussels in 1h22* ,
up to 11 trains connect Paris and Amsterdam in 3h18*, and 5 trains
between Paris and Cologne in 3h14*. 3 of these trains continue on to
Essen serving Düsseldorf International Airport once a day.
As a member of Railteam, Thalys has direct connections with a number of
other high-speed train networks in Europe : TGV in France (from Paris), ICE
in Germany (from Cologne) and Eurostar, departing from either Brussels or
from Paris to London and South East England. The travel time between the
UK and Amsterdam or Cologne is only 4½ hours by Eurostar with
connecting Thalys services.
