INTRODUCTION
The 3rd
Annual Middle East Fire Safe 2012, held at the JW Marriott
Dubai between 24 – 26 September 2012, experienced an impressive
attendance of more than 225 participants from 15 countries. The
event was held under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency
Major General Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, Acting Director General,
UAE Directorate General of Civil Defence – Dubai and gained
the much appreciated support from associations such as Firestop
Contractors International Association (FCIA), Society for Fire
Protection Engineers (SFPE) and German Fire Protection Association
(GFPA).
The event featured 24 sessions by 26 internationally renowned
speakers addressing the current trends, challenges, solutions, and
innovations in the fire safety industry with significant representation
from - government institutions, construction, oil & gas, transport, port
authorities, utilities, financial institutions, manufacturing industry and
solution providers. This event gave all the attendees an excellent
opportunity to directly interact with the fire safety solution providers,
consultants and who-is-who of the industry.
This post show report will summarise the 2012 event, using statistics
from the previous editions to show how the event has grown as a
pioneer must-attend show in the region. If you are already involved
with previous editions of Middle East Fire Safe conferences as a
delegate, speaker or a sponsor and have contributed towards the
conference, we would like to thank you for your constant support in
making the event such a great success.

What Delegates Felt About the Event:
Over the course of the three days event, 225 visitors attended the 3rd
Annual Middle East Fire Safe, making this one of the
largest fire safety event in the Middle East region. With a 20% increase in delegate percentage from last year, the event has
yielded results for delegates and they took home substantial learnings on the fire safety techniques, latest innovation and fire
protection measures.

  • 2. 3rd Annual MIDDLE EAST FIRESAFE All statistics compiled from completed surveys: visitor questionnaires and visitor registration forms INTRODUCTION The 3rd Annual Middle East Fire Safe 2012, held at the JW Marriott Dubai between 24 – 26 September 2012, experienced an impressive attendance of more than 225 participants from 15 countries. The event was held under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Major General Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, Acting Director General, UAE Directorate General of Civil Defence – Dubai and gained the much appreciated support from associations such as Firestop Contractors International Association (FCIA), Society for Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) and German Fire Protection Association (GFPA). The event featured 24 sessions by 26 internationally renowned speakers addressing the current trends, challenges, solutions, and innovations in the fire safety industry with significant representation from - government institutions, construction, oil & gas, transport, port authorities, utilities, financial institutions, manufacturing industry and solution providers. This event gave all the attendees an excellent opportunity to directly interact with the fire safety solution providers, consultants and who-is-who of the industry. This post show report will summarise the 2012 event, using statistics from the previous editions to show how the event has grown as a pioneer must-attend show in the region.
