we combine all localisation-related processes
under one roof - dubbing, voice-over, subtitling,
translation of multilingual projects, transcription,
preparation of broadcast material, video editing and
access services for television.
From trailers to complete channel launches in
multiple languages – we handle all genres and
formats. We consider clear communication

3. VSi group
The work done by VSI Berlin shows the cultural
diversity and technical scope of the international
VSI Group. We provide a full range of language
services — however high the standards set by your
project in terms of language, artistic implementation
or cultural knowledge, we are able to provide a
service appropriate to your needs. You will be
assigned a central point of contact at a branch of
your choice who will see you through the project.
Alongside its headquarters in London and our
branch in Berlin, the VSI Group has other studios

4. DuBBing
We have put together the perfect team so that your
dubbing project sounds authentic and natural — no
matter whether it is a feature film, a series, a promo
or a commercial. We work with the best dubbing
artists, writers and directors in the industry, making
the most of what Berlin, the dubbing capital of
Germany, has to offer.
Thanks to the close-knit network of our numerous
branches, we can offer voice recordings all over the
world.
5. Voice-oVer
In addition to selecting the best creative team for
your documentary or promotional film, it is also
crucial to us that the implementation of your project
is swift and cost-efficient. We are known for our
prompt delivery times and we ensure that you never
miss a broadcast deadline. At our location in Berlin,
we have access to the largest pool of dubbing
artists in Germany: 1500 professional dubbing artists
and actors, as well as a comprehensive network of
professional translators, writers and directors, who
are able to produce precisely the right sound for
your voice-over version.
In cooperation with our international network, we
provide voice-over productions in all languages and
all formats.
6. SuBtitling
We employ a large number of subtitlers as
permanent employees, in addition to drawing on
an extensive pool of freelancers, most of whom
were originally trained by VSI. This enables us to
respond to urgent queries with a very high degree
of flexibility. Subtitling for a one-off special
broadcast during a night shift is just as much part of
our day-to-day business as a DVD production with
ten target languages. Opera subtitling, mobile
subtitling and subtitling for the deaf and hard of
hearing are also part of our portfolio. Our subtitles
meet the highest standards and undergo strict
quality control. We deliver subtitles in all common
file formats, record them on tape or DVD, or insert
them into digital clips.
7. tranSlation
Whether it is product descriptions, specialist
texts, websites or PR and marketing material that
you need, we ensure that our translations are
perfectly geared towards your global target market.
In addition, if your company requires internal
communication material, we offer expert advice
and support in the localisation of your annual
reports, presentations, contracts, training and
e-learning programmes. Every one of our translators
is distinguished by their wide-ranging expertise,
linguistic sensitivity and thoroughness; and of
course they only translate into their native language.

8. StuDioS
We have a highly modern infrastructure, in which all
work areas are optimally interconnected and access
a shared memory. You can send us your material on
tape, as well as digitally. Thanks to our 100 Mbit
SDSL Internet connection, large data volumes are
no problem for us. Our studios meet the strictest
acoustic and technical requirements. All control
rooms and recording studios are fully air-conditioned
and benefit from natural light.
Thanks to our interior design concept, we have
succeeded in creating an extraordinary working
atmosphere, while simultaneously paying a great
deal of attention to optimal technical conditions. The
view of the River Spree creates an atmosphere that
is both dynamic and calm, making our studios the
most attractive in Berlin.
9. technical SerViceS
We offer the complete range of services for your
subtitling, dubbing, or voice-over project in HD and
SD. In addition, we provide linear and non-linear
video editing, graphics editing, standard-definition
and high-definition file conversions and duplications
at our own in-house facility. Your material is
processed exclusively by experienced editors and
video technicians with state-of-the-art technical
equipment.
With our encoding and transcoding solutions, we
prepare your video material for a very wide range of
media, e.g. for TV broadcast, internet, video on
demand, mobile telephones, game consoles and
Apple iPod/iPad.
