upcoming BC HRMA roundtable.
The presentation will focus on the following topics.
Proven Ideas and examples of how to effectively screen, hire, engage and maximize the performance of
various of a diverse workforce including; Generation XY, boomers, professional immigrants and persons
with disabilities.
How and why diversity is being driven by the consumer market and why companies must adapt.
How HR can play a key role in diversity management and leadership to create and empower an
organizational culture.
Roundtables are self-administering groups of BC HRMA members who meet on a regular basis to discuss HR issues
of mutual interest. The focus can be an area of practice, industry sector, or type of practice. Each group has a
chairperson who is the contact person with the BC HRMA office. Non-members may attend roundtable meetings
for a nominal drop-in fee. The event provides members 2 CHRP CE Credits for attending.
Held at the BCHRMA office at 1101-1111 W Hastings Street Vancouver, BC, the round table takes place on
