Clearly define the scope and schedule
for your project
Make Wireframes, and a detailed Project description
Define:
What you want
How you want it
When you want it
Make room for suggestions! After all your not the expert on
everything
16. NettSett
Try to narrow your search
Save time sifting through applicants by being as specific as
possible when you describe the project and what you need done
If your doing a complicated task, make sure the person you hire
has worked on similar projects before
17. NettSett
Do Interviews, review Portfolios and do a
Test run
Many people talk the talk, only a few walk the walk
You can never be 100% sure, but do these three things and watch
out for red flags!
18. NettSett
Get it in writing
You don’t necessarily need a contract, but it’s a good idea to
have all the important agreements in writing
Written agreements solve the small disputes, but if something
goes totally wrong, chances are you will not get your money
back or the project done. What are you going to do, sue them?
It’s always a good thing to have a Plan B!
19. NettSett
Don’t forget about support after the project
is complete
We always have a period of time after the launch where our
clients can report bugs and errors
We do the same with our employees
