Social Media usage is exploding ,[object Object],[object Object]
150 million people  in the US will be reading blogs on a monthly basis. 33 million people in the US will be blogging. These stats reflect a  27-33% increase   over current levels. By 2014

So, what IS a blog? A tool that allows you to quickly and easily  create  and  publish   new content. Allows readers to leave  feedback  on that content, as well as react to feedback from other readers.

Twitter? Twitter is a site that lets users exchange 140-character messages similar to texting.  But instead of sending a message to just one person, others can see these messages, and search for terms contained in these messages. This facilitates one-to-one or one-to-many communication.

Facebook! Facebook is a social networking site that allows users to connect with each other and also create and exchange content.  Most social networking sites allow users to share content via text, video, and even pictures and audio files.  Many users use social networking sites to ‘document their lives’ and to keep up with friends/family.
 
Question: Which tool is the best? Answer: Don’t focus on the tools, focus on the connections that the tools help facilitate.
