Important information
• Competition is a 2-phase approach
• Phase 1:
– Phase 1 will be contracted through CDE
– Phase 1 bids must describe the scope of a potential
phase 2
– Phase 1 deliverables must include a more detailed
costed proposal for phase 2 to be eligible for follow-
on funding

• Phase 2:
– Promising concepts from phase 1 may be selected
for phase-2 funding, contracted through Dstl
– Dstl does not commit to fund any follow-on work,
but will consider phase-2 proposals at a second
decision conference at the end of phase 1
