1.  2 Chronicles 6:32-33: “Likewise, when a
foreigner, who is not of your people Israel,
comes from a far country for the sake of your
great name and your mighty hand and your
outstretched arm, when he comes and prays
toward this house, hear from heaven your
dwelling place and do according to all for
which the foreigner calls to you, in order that
all the peoples of the earth may know your
name and fear you, as do your people Israel,
and that they may know that this house that I
have built is called by your name.”

2.  Exodus 22:21: “ You shall not wrong a stranger
or oppress him, for you were strangers in the
land of Egypt.”
 Leviticus 23:22: “ And when you reap the
harvest of your land, you shall not reap your
field right up to its edge, nor shall you gather
the gleanings after you harvest. You shall leave
them for the poor and for the stranger: I am the
LORD your God.”

3.  Numbers 15:16: “ One law and rule shall be for
you and for the stranger who sojourns among
you.”
 Numbers 15:26: “ And all the congregation of
the people of Israel shall be forgiven, and the
stranger who sojourns among them, because
the whole population was involved in
mistake.”

4.  Psalm 41:1: “ Blessed is the one who considers
the poor! In the day of trouble the Lord shall
deliver him.”
 Hebrews 11:13: “These all died in faith, not
having received the things promised but
having seen them afar, and having
acknowledged that they were strangers and
exiles on the earth.”

5.  Hebrews 13:2: “Do not neglect to show
hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have
entertained angels unawares.”
 Matthew 25:35: “…I was a stranger and you
welcomed me.”
 The Greatest Commandment Matthew 22:39: “
And a second is like it: You shall love your
neighbor as yourself.
