2. Solar Paneled Blinds
 When we are not using the window, we
could pull the blind such that it generates
electricity from the sunlight
 This blind will have thin layers of solar
panels in it such that it generates
electricity in the sunlight.
 It will look something like this:

3.  Itwill benefit the people as a
convectional blind will only shield the
sunlight, which can be used for
generating power
 The new blind will not only block sunlight
but generate power from it

4. Solar panel for heating
 Solar panels can be used on the rooftop
for heating water
 This will save the massive amount of
energy that is used to heat up the water.

5. Motion detection lights in
washrooms
 We should put motion detectors in
washrooms to control the lighting
 As many people forget to switch off their
washroom lights when they leave
 This will waste the power needed for the
light and save power

6. Rainwater harvesting
 Place rainwater harvesting equiptment on
rooftops to collect rainwater
 They can be used to save water
 So they could be used to flush toilets, etc.

7. “recycling power”
 InMany places there are lights on 24
hours like dark rooms
 We can place solar panels on 1 side of
the light shield to generate the electricity
so that the energy is not wasted

 Our solutions are best for landed property
as they are more “customized” than flats
and condominiums
 Installing these appliances also need a lot
of money
 The green system is profitable only in the
long run

disadvantages •Rainwater system will not be effective if there is
less rain
•Batteries in sensors cost money

$8200(including fixing), yearly bills
reduced by 30%. Almost 1 ton of reduced
co2 emissions
 Its size is about 1 to 2 square meters
 It requires a clean surface and minimum
cleaning only
