MARKET 0UTLOOK
The markets closed with significant gains for the seventh consecutive week and
barring oil & gas, all sectoral and both benchmark indices closed positive. Realty,
power, auto and banking remained the lead performers and IT and metal, too,
provided support to the indices. The Sensex was up 2.9% while the Nifty gained 3%
during the week.
From the global perspective, The US markets rallied with the Dow and the Nasdaq
hitting multi-year highs. Robust economic data and reports suggesting that the ECB
would agree to exchange their Greek bonds for new ones boosted sentiment.
For the week, The Sensex was up 2.9% while the Nifty gained 3% during the week.
The Sensex has gained for the seventh week in a row, making this the longest
winning streak since April 9, 2010. Factors like lower inflation, rate cuts and a
recovering rupee have worked in India's favour. But the economic outlook is still a
little tepid and the Budget will provide the next big stimulus either way.

Moody's Investors Service downgrade more than 100 financial institutions.
US unemployment claims for the week ended Feb. 11 fell13,000 from the prior week to
348,000.
