Hi, my name is Ian Walshaw, I am a hypnotherapist, hypno analyst and change work practitioner
based in selby, North yorkshire.

As a non medical professional I am not constrained by any one particular group or profession. I
take my information from wherever I see fit and use what works and is based on working with
hundreds of men and women whose thinking style is making their illness worse than it needs to be

I have said previously there is no known cure and that I honestly believe that statement.
However and this is a big however. I also believe that ALL illness from a common cold to
depression to cancer and yes to chronic fatigue, post viral fatigue and M.E. has some major or
minor psychological component to it.
No, I am not saying your condition is made up, that you should just snap out of it or pull yourself
together (I am certain you have heard enough of that in your time).
What I am saying is that every person I have ever met who has been struck down or is suffering
and debilitated with a difficult to diagnose illness shares a similar style of thinking which causes
them to struggle to live life to the full even though they are ill.
In short, I believe that there is an organic cause to your illness but the way you process or deal
with being ill makes the impact of your illness far more severe. Sometimes leaving sufferers
existing and not living.
