The new Content REST API feature in Hippo 10.2 was created for front-end developers looking to expose content to a mobile app or a custom front end such as a digital kiosk or an IoT channel. It provides a great set of out-of-the-box features to kick-start the development of a mobile app, without the need for extensive back-end programming.
In this presentation, you will get the chance to see how it works from the Hippo experts: Mark Peerdeman, Director of Product Management, and Platform Engineer Oscar Scholten. They will discuss the API's functionality in detail, explain how it fits into Hippo's multi-channel strategic product roadmap, and demonstrate how to easily develop an Angular application on top of this new API.

Nectar goes
Omnichannel
The UK’s largest loyalty program
Aimia is a data-driven marketing and loyalty
analytics company based in Montreal,
Canada. Aimia operates in 20 countries and its
4,000 employees run various loyalty programs
including Aeroplan in Canada, Nectar (Italy
and the UK), Club Premier in Mexico and Air
Miles Middle East.
Aimia was looking to relaunch their UK loyalty
program Nectar to facilitate a multi-channel
online experience that delivers the right offers
to the right client at the right time.
Aimia selected Hippo CMS in a very short
sales cycle because of it’s flexibility and
interoperability capabilities over a competitive
product that had just been implemented by the
Italian team.
“We are looking forward to launching soon. That will be a real
transformation in how we manage our digital products.”
15. Harmonized Experience
Delivering relevance across channels
Aimia integrated Hippo CMS with their existing
marketing technology, turning Hippo into a
personalized offering engine that consolidates offers
from a plethora of third party solutions and presents
it to Nectar clients in a harmonized experience.
Aimia is currently rolling out Hippo CMS for their
Middle East websites in Arabic RTL.
Due to the continuous success with Hippo CMS,
Aimia is now negotiating for a global license for their
entire digital infrastructure.

19. Continuous Innovation
But not without the business
Greetz is the leading provider of personalized
cards and presents in the Benelux.
In 2015, the development team looked for a
CMS to support their need for agile innovation:
rolling out new releases of the Greetz key
differentiator, the personalization and ordering
process.
The development team favoured a headless
content management system that gives them
total control over layout and presentation.
But that would have paralyzed business and
marketing teams and created a silo that
prevents a unified customer experience
across channels and journey phases.
Greetz chose Hippo CMS because it gives the
best of both worlds:
Powered by Hippo CMS
Surprise someone. Let them know you are thinking of them.
That’s what Greetz is for.
The developer freedom of a
headless CMS and the business
agility of a marketing solution.
