Go to www.FingerLakesWineMonth.comWill email the schedule of visits of when to expect us. One day dedicated to winemaker interviews and one day will be devoted to winery & bottle shots. Days will be determined based on weather those two days.Wine of the day will have a vanity URL which will link directly to your online wineshop
-Retailer Sign Ups= 3-Restaurant Sign Ups= 2-Encourage sign ups at your top accounts. Distributors will work on getting sign ups as well. -All information sign up is on the Finger Lakes Wine Month website
-Setting up tasting events will be done via wineries and distributors working together. Once scheduled, send me an email so that I can put the event on the website.-Sponsor Page will include the Distributors logos participating in the event-One Sheeter is a one page description of what the program is, benefits, how to sign up, and the list of participating wineries-Distributors will receive POS materials from us and some are producing their own POS for the programs that are specific to the wineries they represent.-Every Friday I will send an email out to everyone with the spreadsheet of on and off premise accounts that have signed up for the program. Both winery and distributor will receive. These accounts can be contacted directly or they may contact you. Agava Example.
Wineries-Will receive a form in which you will indicate the one wine you would like represented in #FLXWine Hour and the wine you would like represented in the additional virtual tastings. The additional virtual tastings are varietal specific. To be fair in choosing, you will each indicate your preference in one of the three additional tastingsThe amount of wine needed for media samples for virtual tastings will be determined based on the number of media we have signed up to participate.
#FLXWine Hour..Featured virtual tasting. All 20 participating wineries will have wine samples sent to media for this eventThe three additional virtual tastings..each of the 18 wineries that purchased the full package will have access to one of the three.
-Thomas will give his Cool Climate Seminar presentation including a wine tasting portion, very similar to what we do at the Expos. The exciting twist is that each of the wines featured during the tasting -Saturday May 18 ( can make individual appointments, Welcome Reception)-Sunday May 19 (Keynote speaker, site visits, conclude with grand tasting)-Monday May 20 (Conclude site visits)
Those wineries that have registered independently will be refunded
Join us for an interactive panel discussion on rebuilding and restoring the NY Harbor post-Superstorm Sandy at Baykeeper's 2nd Annual New York City Oyster Benefit. The event will also include a cocktail hour and networking reception featuring an oyster raw bar, hearty hors d'oeuvres, and wine & beer.  Join us for this exciting and informative evening on Tuesday, May 7th from 6 pm - 9pm at Scandinavia House (58 Park Avenue) in New York City. You are not required to donate wine. Â
-Registration forms for different parts of the program need to be completed in a timely fashion. I will send via email. You wonât have much time to think about things.-Start thinking about what your staff availability for tasting events and the large consumer events-Prepare your contact lists for those that you would like to invite to the Cool Climate Trade Seminar and the Industry kick off event. I will send you all the link to the invitation.
