Last year in 2014, “આત્મ-સાધના શિબિર” Atma-Sadhana Shibir was held at
Borengo Springs, CA in month of September for 3 days. About 20 Mumukshu had
participated in the Shibir. It was a great learning experience for everyone. We all
felt that along with આગમ અભ્યાસ, બિન્તવન, મનન-મંથન, અને એકાગ્રતા are
necessary towards achieving સમ્યક્તત્વ. Everyone felt that this kind of Shibir should
be arranged more often. With this in mind, we have arranged another Shibir this
year. The details are as follows:
On behalf of Tatvadhara, we are pleased to announce and invite you to
“આત્મસાધના શિબિર” Atma-Sadhana Shibir that will be conducted by Honorable,
Jain Scholar, Dr. Shri Rameshbhai Parekh from Friday, April 17th through April
20th, 2015 at Imperial, California.
As Gurudev Kanjiswami’s 126th Janm Jayanti falls on April, 20th 2015, we will also
celebrate Janm Jayanti on April, 19th and 20th 2015.

3. Atma-sadhana Shibir
One who has seen soul has seen it all. - Shrimad Rajchandra
Gurudev Kanaji swami has said that “One develops the right vision only if one
develops conviction about the soul in thought-free condition, and not without this
conviction.”
Once we accept this statement by Gurudev, if we do not make the necessary effort,
then the dry knowledge of the words only, will not be beneficial. After studying about the
nature of the soul from the holy books and from Guru, the effort for self realization is the
one thing worth doing.
For such efforts, besides the studies, the disciple student needs to understand the
contribution of meditation (dhyan), solitude (ekant), pooja and worship, and then act
accordingly. For such practical knowledge and experience, this small conference is arranged
during Friday, April 17th through April 20th, 2015 at a peaceful site at Imperial, California.
In this conference, meditation (dhyan), solitude (ekant), and studies will be the
main topics. There will be time and opportunity for solitude. It is hoped that this
conference will be helpful in experiencing the Simple life, simple food (simplicity/straight
forwardness,) pleasantness and many facets meditation.

4. આત્મસાધના શિબિર
“ જેણે આત્મા જાણ્યો તેણે સવવ જાણ્યુ” - -શ્રીમદ રાજિંદ્ર
ગુરુદેવ શ્રી કાનજી સ્વામીએ કહ્ું છે “જો શુદ્ધ આત્માની શનશવિકલ્પ પ્રતીશત કરે તો જ
સમ્યગ્દ્દ્રષ્ટિ થાય. એના વગર સમ્યગ્દ્દ્રષ્ટિ કહેવાય નહહ. સહુથી પહેલા જયારે આત્માનુભવ
સહીત સમ્યગ્દ્દિવન પ્રગિે ત્યારે શનશવિકલ્પ દિા જ હોય છે.”
ઉપરોક્તત કથનનો સ્વીકાર કરીને તદ્ અનુસાર પુરુષાથવ ન કરવામાં આવે તો માત્ર
શુટક જ્ઞાન જીવને કાઈ કાયવકારી થતું નથી. આત્માના સ્વરૂપને િાસ્ત્રના અભ્યાસ દ્વારા અને
ગુરુગમથી સમજ્યા પછી સ્વાનુભૂશતનો પુરુષાથવ એ જ એક માત્ર કતવવ્ય છે.
આવા પુરુષાથવમાં સ્વાધ્યાય ઉપરાંત ધ્યાન, મૌન, એકાંત, બિિંતવન, પૂજા તથા
ભક્ક્તતનું શું સ્થાન છે તે સમજીને સાધક જીવે પ્રવતવવાનું છે. આ માિે પ્રાયોબગક અભ્યાસ
(Practical training) ની નાની શિબિરનું આયોજન કયુું છે. શુક્રવાર, તારીખ ૧૭ થી સોમવાર,
તારીખ ૨૦ એપ્રીલ ૨૦૧૫ દરમ્યાન આ શિબિર “ઇક્મ્પહરયલ, કેલીફોશનિયા” ના િાંત સ્થળે
રાખી છે.
આ શિબિરમાં ધ્યાન, મૌન અને સ્વાધ્યાયની મુખ્યતા રહેિે એકાંતમાં બિિંતવનનો
અવકાિ મળિે. સાદું જીવન, સાદો ખોરાક, સરળતા, પ્રિન્નતા તથા આત્મધ્યાનના શવશવધ
પાસાઓનો જાતે અનુભવ પ્રાપ્ત કરવા માિે આ શિબિર ઉપયોગી નીવડિે એવી આિા છે.
