- In the last 20 years or so , many changes have transformed IT. The old-time perception of IT as a necessary cost (kind of “evil”) to keep things better organized but bringing little competitive advantage to the company bottom line has dramatically changed We moved into a more “evolved” period when IT was tasked to measure everything.
