Project OGD: Switzerland is conscious
about the follow up!
On September 13th was the FITSU charged, in collaboration with the
Swiss Federal Archives and the Federal Chancery with:
• Development of a Swiss “Open Government Data” strategy
(until spring 2014)
• Implementation of measures to guarantee an effective introduction
of OGD in Switzerland (law, licensing, financing, standardization)
• Creation of an infrastructure (OGD-Portal), starting from the
pilot project opendata.admin.ch
• Coordination of activities at a swiss level

 Launch of a potentially effective and attractive infrastructure (OGD-

• Coordination at a national level: how?
