much and other information with in radio
shows these waves also carry signals to
phones and televisions.

5. The quality AM radio waves is influenced by various factors for
example the time of year and day influence the quality of
sound received. The diagram below is an example of this as
it demonstrates the waves behaviour at different times on
the day. During the day the waves are more controlled
because of the numerous lays in the atmosphere but at night
time the waves are more like to travel further than intended
and the density of the layers in the atmosphere alters.

When TV’s first came out they had antenna’s
these an antenna’s were created to receive
signals (waves) with information and turn it

antenna’s) when phones first came out.

8. Just like many radio stations TV companies and
phone companies are finding new ways of
connecting people without using AM waves
due to fact they are not very reliable at times.
For example many radio show are switching to
FM waves whilst TV companies which to
digital. It is still possible to find radio station
with England that still use AM waves but they
are very small in numbers.
